Radar working in FSX
Last Updated on Wednesday, 20 January 2010 09:34 Written by Thomas Tuesday, 19 January 2010 23:54
I made an effort this evening and finally put together the new radar for FSX. No longer using my custom dll module, it is pure XML (from my side that is) and calls the default ITrafficInfo and GPS modules. Works like a charm.
While I was at it, I also built the basic functions of the RWR for 35OE (which I am not sure if I will even release for FSX).
Screens and videos will be posted later this week.
Stay tuned /Tom

By the way, I came across this movie:

after 4 minutes there is 'live' radar footage.
All of the things you mention are possible, although they are not implemented yet. I will go into more detail about the radar in a blog post.
