I've installed all the effects files into the main FSX/Effects folder. The only effect working is the tail skid.

The tail skid??? No effects related to that. I'm confused.

I admit I'm an early rotator. The effect I was referring to when the tail wheel hits the ground, you get a puff of smoke.

OK... well all the touchdown fx are the same stock FSX effects (not installed with Draken), so if you see the dust cloud from the tail wheel (it's not a skid) you should see the main and nose gear fx too.
Are you also missing the afterburner and contrail effects?

Afterburner should not look down of mainframe center. Afterburner should look slitghtly up centerline. Watched alot videos of the Draken on youtube - whenever they start Burners on runway the AB points up about 5-10 degree.

I did get the contrails to work, but I have no idea how and not consistantly. Sometimes G's induce it, sometimes not.
