4.0B01 PN-594

Postby zappa » 5 Jul 2010 18:06

Hi Thomas

I cant seem to get the PN-594 flight director mode to work in 4.0B01.
Tryed to use it at Ängelholm F10 But i cant get any readings on the radar .
set to DP B or DP H .
In NAVRIKTN mode i press test button and get nothing showing, no Localizer or glide slope showing.
Tryed it in flight too in Nav400,Nav40,Landn40 and Barbro and getting nothing.

Been back to the manual a couple of time to make sure am not doing somthing wrong , i dont think i am?

Am sure the nav aids are there because the FLI 35 works fine .

Do the Nav aids install automaticaly with the aircraft or do i need to add them through fsx sceanry libary?

If they are allready there then am i missing somthing or is there somthing not working ?

Cheers
Zap

Hi Zap,

Have you activated the scenery in FSX? Stupid question maybe but I have to ask. ;)

The FLI35 unit btw works on GPS coords and is not dependant on the Barbro scenery. So you can very well have that working but not the PN-59 navigation.

However, if you cannot get the crossbars active at all, there may be something wrong with the installation. I will do a test flight and get back to you ASAP.

OK, try turning off xbars illumination (BELYSNING KORSVISARE). It seems there is an error in the gauge which makes the crossbars invisible when lit.

Cockpit lighting (exterior)

Tuesday, 03 August 2010
Added some more detail to the rather frugal cockpit in the exterior model. The instruments are now illuminated at night, yay!

VC vertical position

One of our members just pointed out to me that the VC is positioned somewhat below the cockpit in the exterior model. Odd, since the VC and the exterior model are...
